Historical Research

I am finishing a long term restoration on a 1952 Ferrari 212 Cabriolet. the car is the second road car produced by Pininfarina for Ferrari.
While thumbing through a friends copy of Fantastic Alfa Romeo I saw a 1900 Cabriolet featured that has many of the same characteristics as the Ferrari.
I have below a photo of a jack (Martinetto) manufactured by CIMA. This is commonly thought to be a 212 jack however most of the cars shown with this jack were not Pininfarina.
Does anyone have or know which type jack would have come in a Pininfarina bodied 1900?

I agree. In case this e-mail address doesn't work, try contacting Peter Marshall via http://www.ar1900reg.org. Carter Hendricks in St. Louis is also very knowledgable. He can be contacted via AlfaBB.

Thanks fellows.

I have been told by a well known parts dealer that 1950s Lancias used the same CIMA jack but that the folding shaft was shorter?

I will follow up on all these leads,

David
