electronic ignition for 2000 touring spider

does anyone know how to convert the marreli s73b into a electronic one?? and wich parts to use??

Also highly interested! Looking at your first name: Dutchman? I am also in the process of restoring a 102 spider. So......always interested in sharing knowledge.!

HI,

you can use the electronic 123 ignition from alfa 105 serie

modification of the axle and fit the original worm from 102 serie on it.

The replacement involves fitting the worm drive from a 102 distributor. It works beautifully. Might take a bit of fitting, but no big thing. Franco, you do good work. You have such interesting projects from time to time. Did you ever find a way to drive the second distributor off the back of the other cam on that 1900 engine? Maybe you can unscrew the drive worm out the back of a couple two liter cams so they can both work turning the same way. I want to see that engine. Jay
