the car was never driven since it started rusting.
Haha Aurum that was a good one. Some if not all cars start rusting when they leave the assembly line.

Good luck with the sell but the rust seems to be the major problem for the new owner, lets hope he is a good welder or can afford the work.

LOL... not exactly what I meant. The car hasn't been driven since the rust could have compromised the integrity of the car. I.e. everything is still straight and aligned.

I brought the car in for an estimate for restoration (see early post in this chain) and Frank Buonanno of Black Horse Automotive noted the above observation as a particularly beneficial condition for the car... I thought it worth mentioning.

Clearly someone is going to have to spend time and money to restore it, or I would have done it already!!

pics of the underside would be helpful, IF it has enough structural integrity to get it on a lift. I know it would be a pain to get it towed to a garage etc etc but if you're looking to get a fair price and minimize the chance that a potential buyer would pull out after bidding and then seeing the car in person its the best way to go. Otherwise, even if the car is restorable, you may wind up selling the car for not more than parts because of the risk to the buyer.

Hi Bernhard,

I've not forgotten about you, I just have not had a chance to snap better photos. This upcoming weekend is looking good. I need to prepare for winter anyways, so the garage will get cleaned out.

I've got more, but that should characterize it. If you're interested in a particular view, I've probably got it or can get it.

P.S. Thanks for looking

Not yet. Why based on the Picts would you assume it is sold? Interested?

Okay, a price already!!!!

I know you are fishing for the best price, throwing it out there to see who gets exited and offers whatever. I'm starting to feel offended. I made 2 HONEST offers already. I'm sure a lot of Alfisti have contacted you and made offers [ including several European buyers]...
HOW MUCH!!!!!!?????

Not my intention to offend you... but I placed the photos and such in this location on the board opposed to the buy/sell area because I'm looking for advice/information to ascertain it's proper value. I'm not looking for top dollar money... I just don't want to low ball myself or conversely insult someone by asking too much.

It's also true that I've been contacted by members of this board through email with advice and offers, and I'm very grateful to these individuals for their kind suggestions and opinions.

Regarding your offer(s), I'm not looking for a trade and $3k or $4k (I don't remember exactly) is on the low side, and as such out of contention, but thank you regardless!

About a price. Not sure yet. Sorry, but I'm not being coy, I just haven't had the time to research enough. Most likely I'll place the car on ebay and see what it will fetch. <shrug> The information and advice that I've garnered will help in coming up with a reserve value.

Chris
