Early Spider 2000 Hood, WIW

Have an Touring 2000 Spider twin scoop hood in the garage that needs a new home. Can anyone give me an idea of what it's worth? Sadly, the whereabouts of the rest of the car are unknown. The hood itself in good condition with no corrosion, but has no chrome trim on the scoops or other emblems. Will see if I can post some pics tomorrow. Thanks,

Here are some pics of the hood. The top seems to be pretty nice. Right front corner of the inner structure will need a patch. I don't see any other corrosion issues.

Talking To the right person, priceless!

My hood is starting to crack out even after careful welding prior to repainting.
At least the rust place needing welding on yours is not right at the holes for the chrome on the top. So it might be an improvement. I have no intention of making someone rich, but your hood interests me. How far would it have to be shipped from WIW (wherever that is- Wisconsin?) to Seattle. You really ought to indicate on your avatar heading where you are (not over the rainbow, or banned, or in granolaville, etc -- something approximate to where you are). The last time I bought a piece from Minnesota it was a front fender that was cheap but cost $250 to ship.

Jay, I think "WIW" is intended to ask "what's it worth"?

Exclamation Old dogs and new tricks

Oh, right. But for WIW (see even I can learn new stuff at my age) I still need to know where in _ _ _ _ he has this piece of metal. A hood is pretty big when it comes shipping. It can't be sent in one of the cute little boxes available at the post office. Regards to you, Don, and thanks for explaining the new jargon. I don't tweet or twitter (or whatever its called) because that only allows 120 characters in a message (maybe I should limit myself some, but 120 characters -- gee) or however many. And as to WIW of the hood, the value of an item is almost always adversely affected by the shipping distance and cost. Jay

PS Hope you got the 2300 engine going. Would like to hear more about its performance. Jay

agree with the desirability of showing one's location...I'd like to know where 2000/2600's are located.....

I guess the question is: "Why don't people show their location?"

P>S> whoops I guess my profile doesn't so Im going to eat my own words and remedy that!

The hood is in Milwaukee Wisconsin. It probably can go fairly inexpensively by Greyhound. I have not done it myself, but guys on the Mopar board have recommended it as a cost effective way to ship larger boxed pieces.
