I ran 110/130s on my 78 Spider through the stock harness without burning anything up. With that said.....I might have been lucky not to fry a harness or the switch itself.
You can safely run these style bulb with relays to provide the power to the bulbs. In stock setting, the switch gives the power to the bulbs. In a relay setup, the light switch would trigger the relay to give the power to light the bulb. The relay setup spares the light switch and stock harness from the massive draw of amps that those bulbs need.
Another thing to consider is the weakness of your charging system. You may find everything dimming after turning on your new lights, so be sure to address this.
