Which leaves three possibilities; 1) wiper motor 2) wiper switch and 3) the wiring in between. I'm leaning towards the wiper switch or the wiring at the switch since you said that there's power in but no power out. Guess we'll have to wait for RoadTrip to return to confirm the switch wiring.
In the meantime, I have an extra foot switch to lend if you'd like. Electrically it's OK but I don't think the pump portion works. If you call me with your address tomorrow, Mon 06 Oct, I'll send it up to you.
Jim,
Thanks for the offer of the foot switch to borrow, however I just was the high bidder on one on eBay, so I should have that here soon. (I've already put all new tubing and reinstalled the spray nozzles.)

I'm tempted to jump 12 volts to the other terminals to see if the motor does anything, but I don't know which to jump to, or if I'd damage anything if I put power to the wrong place.

I wouldn't be surprised if the console switch is at fault. It feels "soft" if that makes any sense; it doesn't really snap into any of the positions. I'd take it apart and look inside if it were held together by screws, but it seems to be riveted together. At any rate, I figure I should see power at at least one other terminal while switching it, and I don't. It looks like IAP has the switch in their catalog at $34.95. Ouch.

I just had the horrible thought of the possibility that the PO, or the PO before him, could have mixed up some of the wiring between the wiper switch and one of the other switches. Oh what a mess that would be . . .
