A Great day for a quick Alfa trip to Baltimore

Had to do a 1 day back and forth to baltimore for buis. today so I figured what the heck and took my 164l.550 miles roundtrip. Sunroof open, new Jeep cd player up loud..set the cruise at 72 and off I went. remarklebly I got a true 29 mpg on 91 sunoco. checked it both ways. Only went above 72 a few times and only once above 100 for about 2 miles. My AC failed to cool though.. I think she's just low on freon. Checked when I got home.. fan comes on with ac and so does compressor. I just got the hot water valve I'll put that in also to help out... Just fun cruising though.... I need to be in detroit thursday hmmmm maybe show those guys what great sports sedan is all about.Robb

I did think about stopping there Steve... I may be working in that area for a while and if so i certainly will. I'm being pulled between baltimore and detroit for a couple of projects.. I'll make a choice later this week. Funny that they are both 275 miles from pittsburgh just in opposite directions.

Today it was back and forth to detroit. thats 1200 miles this week in my 164 28-29 mpg. AC worked great today...when I got home I did hear fuel pump humming away...but no problems..might need to put checking that on the list.
