waterpump replacement on 164L?

I found an ad on autotrader for a 91 164L that needs a waterpump. I'm wondering how hard it is to do the waterpump on one? I've got a decent amount of mechanical skill: changed a few motors/transmissions, done a few waterpumps including a FWD mazda. I was trying to get ahold of a flatrate manual to get an idea, but couldn't find one.

Anybody have experience with it?

Well, generally you would do a waterpump, timing belt, and tensioner at the same time. It's a bit harder on a 164 than a GTV-6/Milano since you are working through the wheel well, but it's a fairly straighforward job. I'd leave a weekend the first time you do it.

I did this my first time this summer, after watching Alfisto Steve do most of the same job on my daughter's 164L. Not a big problem, but for the time involved. Watch out for bits and pieces, like tensioners, lost nuts/washers/mind, thread repair kit, torque wrench calibrations, rubber bumpers for later 164L plenum mount, proper Allen wrenches, fuel injector hose, gaskets and sealant, serpentine belts, and did I mention torque wrench calibration? Took me a few days, as I didn't want to rush it and make a stupid mistake. Which you always do, anyway.
