Pre-Order: Anti-Sway bar Kit
Orders for bars will be taken in Oct.
Fits all 164 models, except Q4. (Q4 front is the same as the rest, we can reduce cost for 1 bar, or send us your rear and we can make one...Lenard??!)
The bars will be made exactly to Eibach spec.
Kit includes: front/Rear anti-sway bar, 2 polyurethane bushings/hardware.- Price ~$650
They will be powder coated Red for durability.
I guarantee the workmanship and quality, stand behind all bars 100%.
I am taking a pre-order list.
Once bars are confirmed and go to manufacturing I will need a $200.00 Non-refundable deposit.
Thanks all, they should be ready to purchase in Oct.
Thanks Much
Jason

I'm still kinda waiting for a strut for the tops of the shock towers in the engine compartment, seeing as how the 164 tends to get cracks in the top left inner fender well where the small square hole is for mounting the coolant overflow tank, due to too much flexure of the fender wells (having mine welded up next week). Any further thoughts about that, Jason?
I do believe that adding a stiffer anti-sway bar in the front does transfer a little more initial load into that area from the top of the strut, instead of the strut moving more internally with the OEM bar.

Yup,
Have a prototype here already, making some improvements but this is the next project, maybe in the next 6 months or less.
Basically working on the Y on the drivers side mounted to a ring around the strut tower.
The otherside will mount to the existing motor mount.
I know a upper strut tie bar will be a huge difference in chassis twist.
I am certain this will add increase steering response, handling stability at high speeds and over all longevity to chassis, doors, hood etc. This will allow for the body to stay straight when jacked up and not throw doors off and eventually bending the hinge pins, hinges and doors so they don't fit properly.
But the main reason is to go faster around corners and higher stability factor... right

In for a penny, in for a pound
I'm still on board wanting a set of 164 anti-sway bars Jason.
Strut brace sounds very good too. Given the beautiful aesthetics of the engine (chrome intake pipes, nicely cast aluminum covers and plenum, etc) I would hope that something so visible in the engine bay as a strut brace would be nicely crafted to compliment the engine in addition to being a structural improvement.

My plan is to either go black or red or both depending on what you want.
I may even later offer colors specific to the car, white, red, black, burgundy, green, blue, etc...
But They may just all be black to be stealthy looking and not upset the engine bay appearance.
