Increased Fuel Mileage
For once, good news.
So far this summer I've been noticing an improvement in my fuel mileage on my 164L. For the last 6 years I've been getting ~18.3 mpg around town. Lately I've been getting ~20.5 mpg.
The way I see it, I've done two things to to the car that could possibly effect the fuel mileage. First I cleaned out the oil separator and replaced the hose from the separator to the head. The old hose was shot and leaked. The system is now air tight.
Second thing was I wired in new fuel injector electrical connectors. I'm sure I've got much better connections now.
