Well, slow day in the 164 local neighborhood. Went to Alfisto Joe's this morning and we pressure checked his coolant system on his 164 with oil pan drained and drain plug removed. We got coolant running out of oil pan so which cylinder liner oring is leaking? We got to pull oil pan next week to see which bank, which liner oring is leaking, stay tuned. Needless to say he is making chocolate milk in oil pan. Not good for engine bearings.
Back to Non-Quik Silver rescue project. Went to Home Depot, Comet Plumbing, Case A/C and Appliances, etc., an a/c part shops before I finally found 3/4" ID brass compression sleeves (ferrules) aka Alfa part number 60897530 at Hydro Hydraulic Hose shop to install brass ring the new a/c air distribution drum. These fit home a/c Freon return lines but EPA has outlawed them for a/c systems I am told.

Last 164 project of the day was to get cleaned rescued fuel tank outfitted with working fuel pump. Which I did but in the process I had to retest and preserve my spare fuel pumps with 2-cycle oil and gas mixture for my leaf blower.
I managed to soak and test 5 pumps from bad tanks and ebay purchases for me and my son. I still have slime bucket one from last rescue tank I may not be able to save. Man is fungus and rust terrible on it!
Next week I hope to get a/c and heater box and stepper motor and dash back together so I can then set up engine (already tested) and tranny ready to go back in car.
Have a nice weekend, daughter has SAT testing tomorrow morning, Soccer in late afternoon (parent cheering section in order) and night job to keep her busy tomorrow.
No cruise for Mother's day (she said we already did that) and Anniversary but Seafood outing at Sandbridge, VA or Outer Banks, NC on schedule. Family first if possible before Alfas I have a hard time remembering that.
Oh, I have to assemble that Pergola for the bride this weekend.
