Angry Need New Throttle Switch!

I finished My timing belt this week 4-16-08. My car started right up BUT....I need a new throttle control switch because I cant rev car without it stumbling or cutting on and off at 2000rpms which can cause belt to jump and skip teeth. But if I rev slowly I can go all the way up the rpms. And If I unplug it I can rev it fine. But cant really drive without it because on start up with it unplugged it stumbles for a little on idle and then it settles and if engine is cold it will idle very high at 1500rpms to 2000rpms simply because mixture is rich and sometimes it will not idle and just shut off soooo got to get that switch. I drove car to about 30 to 45mph and lifted up on pedal and rpm didn't fall as car slowed down just held at 2000rpms it fell after I brake for a little bit. NOT good that puts strain on the tranny. And while cruising lets say 45mph and lift off gas and back on, it delays allot on throttle. Pretty much what my sisters Nissan Pathfinder did before it got its new throttle switch. Just a Heads up Guys.

If you are talking about min/max switch on throttle body it is adjustable on 12v engines. It should click off/on between 1-0 degrees for min setting. Try setting it by loosening mounting bolts and rotating so it clicks correctly.

Hey Steve thanks for replying. As For adjusting I tried it so its clicked but still a problem. I also checked all grounds and refiled grounds on intake and added a ground to the switch itself pulled it off filed the ends and the surface where its mounted and added a wire for extra ground and set it to the click position and no luck man I did all this because its what D.Codes say 1213 Bad ground. I ordered a new one from IAP. Although I feel that the switch isnt the problem. I replaced the spark plugs today and saw that the car is burning great! a little on the warm side (you know the little white film on spark plug probe not very much though) but nice clean. The old plugs were still good Bosch platinum. The new plugs are Bosch Plat +2 pretty nice plugs car likes. Everything is cool Timing Belt water pump change went great all plugs are plugged in Filed the grounds on Intake added ground to the switch checked for air leaks no air leaks looked and looked around made sure that idle stabilizer wasn't stuck open or closed. Fuel pressure good, spark good, coil good. I must of shorted the switch itself a couple weeks ago when I washed my engine. Wont be doing that again. I'm thinking if its not my throttle switch than it could be the Idle stabilizer starting to die. Like stated if I rev car slowly(press gas pedal slowly) with switch plugged in I can go all the way up with no cut offs. But If I rev normally you know a little quicker it stumbles and cuts on and off and bounces its way up to 2000rpms and maybe a little higher. Now If I unplug the switch it revs fine no cut off quick or slow. Another words I can step on pedal normally or quickly and it responds great. But than without the switch its like the car doesn't know where to idle, So it will fall too high or too low or just shut down. When drive car with switch plugged in lets say 45 to 50mph and I let off the gas and press gas in again the throttle will delay very late and thats not good because that could cause my timing belt to skip or jump. Now if I unplug the switch I drive to 45 to 50mph let up on gas and back on again and it Wont delay on the throttle. I cant figure it out but hopefully its the switch and the new one can solve it. Thanks in advanced for your inputs guys Steve.
