Thumbs up Its done!!

Finally today I got new timing belt on new tensioner new waterpump, and little hoses in back of housing all done man!!! Ive must of rotated the engine at least 100 times to make sure belt was on right and tensioner bounced and landed back on point MAN but that oil pump pulley oil seal is a real pain in the A$$ to get out didn't have the proper tools to pull it out but a flat head did the trick. That alone took me a good hour and a halfI was trying very hard not to nick or scratch the shaft or the outer walls where seal fits in block because aluminum is very easy to nick. Well I did Nick the shaft a little but got a little file and filed it smooth again so it doesn't tear up the new seal. Just a heads up guys if you are going to get cam seals out having the right tools for it is a MUST. I know they have them I think Alfisto Steve made his own If Im not mistaking. Now it just little gremlins that I got to get like little hose leaks off housing bottom one that feeds to metal pipe going to rear of engine that one drips a very very little bit the real small one above that one I somewhat stopped it by tightening it the big hose off housing that is short and feeds to metal pipe to front of engine has a little small leak no big deal though kind of stopped that one too. That hose has the clamp type grip where you use pliers to get off, I dont really like those types of grips so Im just going to install the screw clamp and new hose. A new throttle position switch is in the works new alternator maybe a new Idle stabilizer recut the plug and get new ones on there. Just little minor things guys but over all car runs great! Im going to try to post pics of my old belt and tensioner and why its important to TO DRAIN system ANYTIME you are going to install new thermostat hoses ect, ect. Also I want to thank Alfisto Steve for all his useful posts and pics and Ideas and all you DIY's on the board for sharing ideas its My first time changing a timing belt and waterpump on a Alfa Romeo and it went great!!

Nice work. I always tell everyone they can do this job. It is very simple for the most part and if you have any skills at all it can be done, you save money and get a little more satisfaction from doing it yourself.

Nice job Dude!
