30th anniversary 》Int.Alfa 164 meeting in Arese 24th June 2017

Our Alfa friend Luigi from Switzerland asked me to post some infos concerning this really interesting meeting that will take place in Arese, by the renewed Alfa Romeo Museum:

Saturday, 24th June at the press room of the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Alfa Romeo will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the Alfa 164 from (1987 to 2017). An opportunity to celebrate the last big sedan conceived, designed and built in the historic Alfa ROmeo plant in Arese. Attended by several personalities who have contributed to the realization of thismodel, such as the Pininfarina designer Enrico Fumia, testers and workers of the production line. There will be shown some 164 which are property of the Alfa Romeo museum, including the famous Procar and all the 164s that will take part to this event will parade on track which lies near the Museum.
The meeting will start from 9:00 am and will be 'all totally free" to enter for the people which come with their own Alfa 164.
For all who want to participate or just want more infos, they can send an e-mail directly to Luig to this address centro64(at)hotmail.com, adding the following infos:
-Alfa Romeo 164 type and name of the car's owner

Curious to see pictures of how the museum has turned out since we were there. It looked fine as far as we were concerned, but we were the only people visiting. Sure some beautiful cars in there. Could have taken quite a few home, lol.

With the lack of attention and personnel at the museum when we were there, I did feel I could just drive a couple of them out without too much trouble. The cleaning lady was very helpful, motioning for us to stand next to many of the cars inside the ropes so that we could take close up pictures, and each of us standing next to them.

Usually what happens with that infantile slang is that when the person is trying to get a job, they are told to speak English or take a hike, same for resumes with text talk. In the round file.
