I know I'm stuck in the past asking about a CD changer but my '94 164 didn't have it when I bought it. Almost certain that the dealer poached it to sell separate from car, but either way I have the factory radio, the pin connector from the radio to the changer but no changer or mounting bracket. Would really like to have it factory again as currently only have radio. Been looking on ebay and some of the threads here but they all seem to end around 2009/2010 so hoping someone has one that they never think they'll use again or they've already replaced with a newer AM changer.
I just went and installed one of the Chrysler radio/tape/cd units which you can buy on ebay for maybe $50 or so. Good enough, esp for older ears, lol. For the LS, requires removing that hide away radio flap, but not a big deal. Works fine.
The factory units were made by Fujitsu, Eclipse. I have two, the original that came with the car which worked only sporadically and a new old stock unit that I purchased about 4 yrs ago to replace it. It stopped working last year. These units are now about 25 years old and if you are lucky enough to find one be prepared to spend more money having it repair. This was a dealer installed option.
What is the price of the units? Can you please add pictures of the changers?
