Sun came out today so I washed the "S", they get real dirty when you drive them IN THE RAIN!!! What a concept, driving an Alfa in the rain.....my poor Spider would just DIE! Anyway, the 164 got a nice bath and seemed to like it!

Rain May be One Thing, But Salty, Snowy Roads are Another!

Alas, my 164Q is in storage for the winter. I just can't drive on the snow and salt covered roads we have here this winter. (more snow than I can remember in January!) So the 164 is in storage. But that just gives me something to look forward to in Spring, and it also gives me time to work on the car. (to the detriment of the Duetto's of course. But the 164 drives and the Duetto's do not, so the 164 gets preference for now!).

I drove the 164S about 60 miles today. She performed perfectly. The only problem I had was keeping it around the posted speed limit. This car really is a thing of beauty.

Greg,
Just claim the car as yours! My wife never drives mine since she can't drive a manual trans car, suits me just fine. I'm not going to teach her on my car either. (one tends to get overly worried about a tranny that you personally took completely apart and fixed).
Charles
I often wish the company I work for would give me a mileage reimbursement rather than provide a vehicle, then a 164 could be my daily driver.

It's been raining tons out here in socal so I've only driven to the store and back in the S and today took the L out to pick up my dad and give him a ride to the mechanics. It was nice driving the L since I had not put a mile on her for about three weeks. Both 164's a filthy with pine needles, I really need to build a new place with like a six car garage
