Cry For Help-164 Ts 2.0 1991
HI,
I'M TRYING TO FIND A THERMOSTAT FOR A 164 TS 2.0 H reg 1991.I'VE TRIED PARTS DEALERS AND THEY KEEP SUPPLYING A THERMO FOR A 93 ONWARDS WHICH IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.PLEASE CAN ANYBODY HELP.

According to Alfa parts CD item 1 - 60512869 thermostat is one you need for 87-92 164 2.0 twin spark engine. Later engines use 60556559 according to parts CD.
Here in USA www.difatta.com shows one 60512869 in stock. Email them at giovanni@difatta.com and ask Ed if he has one he can ship you.

hi,the model changed in 93 to a thermo that mounts to the engine with a gasket were as old models is all one housing and held with mounting bolt.i've had no luck with ebay or anywhere else not even main dealer.

the reg is short for registration. It is the letter on the number plate (or, with newer cars now the number) that will tell you when the car was first registered......so when you see a car, you can tell how old it is. The British use it often to describe the year of their car
