This 12V has a 6-pack coil pack but still uses the flapper AFM. The spider has the 6-pack coil pack and hot wire AFM. Very strange why Alfa does these kind of things.

Looks great. I can't figure out why Alfa never exported silver LS's (Super) to the US!

You asked for 164 pics.....
I love my 164L. It's 9.5 out of 10, but I'm too much of a non-techie for a complex car like the Alfa, so after 3 great years am selling it on ebay. Here's the link, and the pics. (More on ebay). Enjoy!

In my case, I couldn't get this dinky Nikon digital to take photos that would capture the details of my car's exterior, being white, yet it magnified the few tiny creases in the leather seats and made them look dried out. My cousin's red 164 with the clearcoat peeling and beef-jerky textured leather seats looked gorgeous in photos.....I guess some cars are just more photogenic than others.

Mine is 8.1 megapixel Nikon....guess it's the talent of the photographer that matters! I'm good with a 35mm using no flash, but the flash on these little digitals wipes out details, I think. I hardly use it and am not all that familiar with it...guess I'd better practice with it, huh?

I love looking at these photos....Now that my Alfa is gone, that's as good as it gets. The Proteo Rosso (metallic burgundy) is my favorite color. I've never seen a 164 that color. A real fine Q, it is.

Alfas and more Alfas
Here are two pics of things in front of our house. There is a Suburban off to the left in the driveway picture. You should be able to identify the Spider, but the rightmost red car is the Steve Moon "Maine Verde" still a waiting attention (and weeks away from it, as has been for the past year). The leftmost (black) car is a '93 164L, the next 164 forward is a red '92S with a recently rebuilt engine, and the next red car is my son's '91S, in the process of receiving an engine from his black '92S trashed last February (dodging road debris). The white car used to be Fred DiMatteo's. These cars are all targeted for different drivers in our large family.
