Its the profile of the tires, they are 215-50 17" . They absorb a little more of wheel well space compared to 215 45 17" which is what most people use with the 17" wheels. That small of a difference in tire size gives the car a nicer look!

Some pics that I just took of my California-based 1994 164 Super 3.0V6 24v.

Wheels are off a 164Q4, 16x6.5" with Toyo T-1R's at 205/55/16.

Thanks guys. The car turned 112K miles after I took those photos. Burns no oil, and has been utterly reliable for the last 11 years for me. It's a good car.

1995 Super V6 12v from Germany Imported to The Netherlans ( Holland )from the first owner, rebuildt by Jan 164 completly with also a new engine and everything for a big $ 10.000,- for a brand new Super 164!!!
