The more I looked at the picture the more I thought that the red 164 in the picture looked familiar, I was thinking wow this one has the same wheels as mine, then I saw that it was taken at the 2004 Italian car day in Atlanta and realized that it is my 94 164Q with the O.Z. wheels. It saves me from posting pictures.

One picture shows later style overhead console design without sunroof. A rare scene for US owners since all 94-95 164 sold in US had sunroof.
Of corse original wheel would never look this nice. They are brand new set purchased from Difatta brothers.

TJ that is a nice car. Have those seats been sat in? They look mint and I do love the Recaros in black!

I wondered if you where here on the forum. Sorry, we never took the opportunity to chat a bit. I apologize that I can be a bit shy at times, my wife is the talker. There where a lot of very fine cars there to see wasn't there? I thoroughly enjoyed my first Italian Car Day. Maybe will meet up again in ATL.

I now live in Charlotte but that event is a lot of fun and maybe this year I may drive down to it. I am actually trying to put together a similar event here in Charlotte but not having a lot of luck.

Oh what the heck, I join you guys. Here is mine a 94Q with 101,000 while it does not look like it, really needs a total paint job the left front fender for some weird reason is taking on a dark shade of red only noticeble in artificial light or if you take a digital picture. Not sure how much a complete paint job will run but I am sure it will be expensive.

Nice looking Sam. What springs are you using on your car because the ride height looks perfect to me?

Thanks, Rory:

The front is 100% stock. The rear are 164 "L" springs. This is the second LS I have had, and I have made this conversion on both. Lowers that silly "Butt in the Air" look that the LS's have. Being a 100% OEM 164 spring, it gives a great ride and of course is not TOO low.

Though she looks great in the pics, no doubt I'll be calling on you guys for assistance at times

BTW, anyone have a photo of the stereo unit installation. Mine's been removed, though there is a CD stacker in the boot ????? Are these things a standard DIN type head unit ?

BB,

That is one nice looking white 164. Looks like a almost perfect mirror image to mine: http://www.velocetoday.com/cars/cars_74.php
