AC Anti-Frost Switch Capillary Tubing

Does anyone know where the capillary tubing sensor on the AC anti-frost switch goes? According to the manual it goes in the evaporator box. Alfisto Steve shared with me where it enters the box on his son's 164s (see picture). I've got the same grommet but on mine its basically a plug as there is no hole in it. Is there another way to route the spiral end of the capilary tube???

Yeah, I know, I took it apart at one point in the car's life but now I don't remember how it went together.

Any Ideas?

Steve's son's 164s set up is the top picture, my '91 L is the bottom.
