New to the 164 group
I just purchased a 1994 164LS and I am in love with the car.
I am use to a 65 Giulia for many year and then going retro grade for the last 15 yrs. to driving Giulietta's, both Sprint and Spider versions. Long club function rides can be uncomfortable after a few hours.
This car is really something else. The V6 is smooth when it gets out of idle and the ride is lively. I used to dread going 70-mph in the Giulietta's, [the Giulia easily will go 75 all day]. But the 164 wants to go faster and faster till I am yelling to myself to slow down.
The body is very sturdy and their is no rattles.
The exterior finish and interior design are superb.
un bella macchina.

Be advised if idle is rough chances are you have a cam slightly out of time.

Time for a "Bump!"
Aren't there any other 164Q owners out there on the board? Or is this the extent of the remaining cars? I can't believe that a 164Q owner would not be a part of this board!

Agree! There are just so few cars left. The Q registry says it all.

Speaking of the Q Register. I am in the process of moving my Veloce Registers to a new server and the Q register will move with it.
I was kicking around the idea of adding in the Q4 register if I thought there was enough interest. Did I hear right that there is only a 1000 made?

I hope someone can provide me with that information as well. I can start the Q4 register with Lenards Q4 and work out from there.
The Q register is down with the Spider Veloce Register. The hard drive I was acessing files from is not working! ARRRGH! The drive is going into a repair facility today to see what they can do. The drive attempts to load but then stops as it goes through the files. I think a WIN XP repair is in order to resolve the problem. If it is at all possible to get the drive running at least one more time, transfer all of the files to a new hard drive. I thought I had my website on a disc backed up but it doesnt' seem to show the files. MOre work ahead of me before I can get the websites back on line.
IN the mean time, send me info on the Q4's and lets start the register!

Is this thread for 164Q or only for 164Q4? Also, is only for American 164 or European cars can be included?, and my last question, what is the aim of this registry?
Thanks.
Paco.

The 164Q Register is for the USA version 164Q as there were only 130 cars imported. If I was to expand the register to include all European Q's, I wouldn't be able to keep up with the numbers. I am wanting to expand the register to include all of the Q4's as there is between 800-1000 cars production being tossed about. Would like to have a definitive number if anyone can supply it.

This Thread Needs an "Bump!" How many "Q's" are Planning to Attend the Convention?
I should be there with mine. With new 225/45-17 wheels and PS2's from Jason. If the funds hold out, it may even have Euro headlights and a rust repair of the RR quarter panel.
Hope to see you there!

Brian,
I have two Base L Auto versions. Nothing fancy. Just let me know if you are interested in the vin etc. Not a Q though. One is a daily driver and the other could be, but I have been using it for parts.

Erikswede...thank you for your offer, but the list is holding to just Q's. That is plenty to keep up with. Now if someone wants to start a 164 B, L, S register...I have no objections.
