Check engine light

US 95 164LS - The check engine light has come on. I don't have a tester, and I don't believe anyone does within a 60 mile radius of NYC.

Is there any other way to get the code and possibly reset ?

Thanks.

Cory

See http://www.digest.net/alfa/FAQ/164/94motron.htm

In short, press gas pedal 5 times after turning ignition on and watch for flash code. Disconnect battery to reset ECU.

Check with Alfa Import Center in Queens or Alfa Auto Clinic in Baldwin, LI. They should have equipment to read the codes

Do as Bob's link says to get codes and report your findings.

Try disconnect the battery (negative cable), wait 10 seconds and reconnect it back to reset ECU. See whether it comes back after that!
