for•rum |ˈfôrəm|
noun ( pl. forums )
a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
Grow up. There are many, including myself, who welcome your work and contribution of providing hard-to-come-by parts for our aging Alfas. However there are others who appreciate alternative fixes and approaches. I'm not aware of threads being "owned" by anyone. I repeat, I applaud your work and dedication to this forum and encourage people to buy your offerings.

Thank you for the definition. So please make your own post about this instead of on mine. I am offering up a part I worked on for a long time to supply. I am not her just to supply folks with hard to find parts for the fun of it. I mean it's fun at times of course. LOL You come in with replies offering other ways or other ebay suppliers for folks to avoid my product that I am offering. Thank you for the applauding me, I appreciate that. I also applaud your enthusiasm to make your own thing and I love your strut rebuild post. No need to grow up but I think if you put yourself in my shoes for just one second you might get what I am trying to say. Not trying cause an issue. Thank you!

Procedure to replace the seal
I was wondering what the procedure is to replace the sunroof seal?
Does anyone have that clearly outlined?

Ok. Sunroof seal is almost in. I had some come in already and have been shipped to customers who ordered first. For those still waiting it should not be much longer. 7+ days.
Sunroof seal is made in Germany and is very high quality. Although it is not exactly the same as OEM (dimensions are the same) it will do the job nicely. For all those installing these. Please make sure to clean edges where seal makes contact with sheet metal/paint. Make sure there is not glue/silicone/dirt/old wax/etc... Needs to be super clean so that seal does not rub or get stuck.
FINAL PRICE: $89.00
Thank you

Having purchased the seal several months finally got around to having Milano Motors install it. They say it does not fit correctly, too thick. Sunroof will not open cleanly.
Has anyone who purchased one installed it satisfactorily?
Thanks

Its exactly same size as OEM. You may need to clean edges of roof. Makes them fit up there better if they are clean and smooth.

Thanks Jason. Have you actually installed one?
Mine did not seem to be the same size as what came out.

Probably not same size anymore due to wear. This is as close to original as we can get.
12mm from end to end. 9.5mm from top to bottom. Same as stock just not felt type available. Yes I have installed one.

Thanks again. Not complaining, just surprised. It's not like I have some Chevy expert installing it. This is Milano Motors in suburban DC, a seemingly trusted name. Can I have them call you?

If they want to. But not sure what I can tell them anymore than I just told you. They may need some glue around the fitting edge of the sunroof to keep the seal on there too. Just for good measure. Other than that if sunroof is not closing properly then that can be an issue. This is a 164 or Milano?
