Saw the Q over at APE on Monday...

Flew all the way from Seattle to rattle Larry Senior's cage a bit (that's "Sen-yor!!!" to those who don't know him well enough) and "GOD" to those who don't know him at all.... (Which even includes people who have been buying from him - and taking abuse from him - for 10 years....

Any way, they have a 164 Q over there with a burned wiring harness for 6K (asking)... Larry Jr. was nice enough to say that he would throw-in a pretty nice set of black seats from another Q, as well as the dash from another 164 (for a complete swap of the wiring in-tact...)

A LOT OF WORK though... Thinking about it... How much work is it to R&R a dash on one of those things...?

At the end of the day...

At the end of the day, you're still left with a salvage title Q for around 10 K (including transport - noone lives in Tracy CA, SOME shop time, body touch-up etc etc)

You know, if you're never going to sell it, who cares. The car is for your enjoyment.

If you're looking for investment, buy a 750 or 101 series car. Or a house.

Cool Alfa nut living in Tracy, CA

If there is anyone out there that needs a part checked out in Tracy, I live 5 minutes from APE. Neat place. Too many temptations, though. If only had the garage space for the Q....
