Alfa wine tour road trip
We had our 16th annual this past weekend. Had 30 folks and almost all Alfas except for one BMW, Audi TT and Mustang so about 12 Alfas and a Fiat spider.
It rained all day Saturday but we still had a good time.
First winery (second pictures) was the Glass House (green house full of tropical plants) where we had our first tasting and our lunch.
Next one was way out in the valley north of IAP and with the rain the water was running over the roads.
Sunday I went to see my 164 and Milano buds in Blacksburg, VA and on Monday I went to see the Natural Bridge that Thomas Jefferson bought from the King of England for $2.40 and got 157 acres in the deal. George Washington carved his initials in the wall when he surveyed the property before TJ bought it.
It is higher than Niagara Falls and has route US-11 going over top of it.
