If you're talking about the space technology foam filter, let me know how well it worked as I was thinking of going for either one of those or a cone air filter. The K & N have too much oil in them, IMO.
As far as NOS, i would try and find other ways if you can to avoid that because its pretty brutal on your engine. You can throw those little honda engines away, but these beautiful Alfa V6's are going to be hard to replace soon. In any event, it would be kind of neat to see an Alfa out-NOS a honda or acura!

Well see, i'm not gonna be racing this car at all, its more for the bragging effect lol. But no, really, last night i got my *** whooped by an x-terra with 36" tires, 6 inch suspension lift and 4 inch body lift. Nitrous Oxide.
Alphavr has a system in his car if i'm not mistaken.

One of the potential problems with jumping the HP in general too much is premature wearing out and/or failure of the differential innards. Those spider gears and thrust washers, etc in the 164 already have a little bit of a reputation for wearing out faster than one would like. It also does mess up the handling of the car except hotrodding in a straight line. Too much power in a turn will just mess up the traction of the front tires (overloads the tire patch), and in a turn, with the differential doing its thing, that is where the fast wear takes place, along with spinning tire hotrodding.
But, then again, if used very sparingly, it is a fast way to get instant if not potentially harmful HP.

Be warned though, Alfas can have a strange effect on owners; ‘Alfaholic’ a recognised condition among car enthusiasts

alphalvr does have nos, but i believe hes also done alot of work on the engine to prepare it for the stress load that nos would put on it.
he also has a 6 speed transmission, 18 inch wheels, and a bunch of other cool stuff.
mannnn i wish i had a 6 speed tranny...

I've driven a 6 speed before...too much shifting and the Q4 owners agree, but it needs it as it is considerably heavier. I love my 5 speed The MG was kinda neat with its 4 speed...

i dunno, if i had a q4 i think i could handle the extra shifts! The 5 speed is great on my ls, the only thing that bugs me is the amount of understeer. Even with the eibach sway bars, the things just shoots off into the corner.

Your little friend in the XTERRA has a 90mph governor.
So, on the highway those things aren't so cool.
I'm not surprised at the 6 inch lift kit-- damn NH rednecks.
I'm originally from Manch-Vegas-- and I loved to watch those 4x4's in my rear view from my old max---

Camshafts, and a driving course.
I've kept up with the following cars based on what I believe to be knowing how to handle your machine.
- 2003 WRX
- 2005 Mustang GT
- SRT-4
- 350Z
those are the memorable ones..

164 is a quick car, my S is a nice highway cruiser...but its a lot slower than my SAAB was, I dont mind though as it was a lot less expensive. I cant really see a 164 being really fast, the gearing is so tall and the the car is a little low on HP by todays standards.
