Ok, took a look at the rhs fog light on my 91S. Was able to reach the upper rhs screw with a 1/4 inch drive ratchet with 2 inch extension, with a 1/4 inch socket and phillips head screwdriver bit (one of those replaceable ones used for wallboard screws). Wasn't easy but I think, with a lot of swearing, etc, it can be done. I seem to remember something about the swearing bit. Putting it back again would entail some thin fingers and stickum to start that screw again. The others seemed easy to get to.

I did find out, however, that my rhs fog lamp is held in by only the upper left and lwr right screws (as viewed from behind the light), the tabs (with screws installed) evidently broken off where the light mounts in. It's never been a problem, though, so I would recommend you forget about putting that upper rhs screw, and just use the others that are easier to get to. The remaining screws should be adequate.

Indeed the lhs foglight is easier to get to. You might just take out the windowwasher bottle though to give more room to the rhs.

cheers,

Del

Del,

You were right!! I got it in with lots of wiggling and a few choice words, but nonetheless, it went in, I used a 1/4 socket with a phillips head in there and that did it! I only did the 2 screws like you suggested as it was near impossible to get to the far one.

My car is a little happier now! I was so happy, I remounted my front IRL license plate to be in the correct place. Looks like she got a face lift! I'll post pics soon. Oh ya, spray painting the hood is next, LOL, I'm not even kidding...

I also would like to personally thank Del, Steve, and Michael (no particular order) for helping me with any problems i've had on my 164. I don't know what I would have done without your advice and this website. You three are truely an asset to this forum. Hopefully, someday I'll be able to help a 17 year-old with his/her Alfa and be half as knowledgeable as you guys.

Thanks so much, you guys
