164 12v distributor parts breakdown

Here is parts breakdown for 164 12v distributor item 5 is oring 60500512 for end that fits into left cylinder head. Item 7 is shaft oil seal 60500516 that fits inside distributor housing. If you have oil leak down outside of head replace item 5, if oil leak inside cap relace item 7. Best to replace both at same time.

Because this thread has the right title, but the picture has fallen off the map, and because the thread Steve reposted the pic in doesn't have anything like a title someone would find when searching for distributor shaft seal, here's a link. Check post eight (8) of:

I think some of the pictures were lost when site or other servor had problems.
