Air Bag Sensor Connectors

Anyone ever had a problem with the air bag crash sensor connectors disintegrating? The connectors on both sides for the front sensors have completely fallen apart on mine and I'm trying to decide in the best fix.

Any suggestions woudl be greatly appreciated?

BTW, the car is a 91, 164S

I just noticed mine doing this about six months ago. I'm just going to ignore it and pretend they are fine. I'm in denial about my car's paint job as well.

LOL...I thought about doing the same thing, but then I'm afraid the bag will go off and remind me that I should have done something about it...

Bag will not likely go off but take care and gently lift out of retainers and wrap connectors with electical tape to prevent them from coming apart or throwing a fault code.

Thanks Steve, I'll take your advice this weekend.
I have a parts car with good connectors and sensors and was thinking about splicing in the good connectors. At least this way the splice/repair would be in a place less visable. But then I was concerned about the possibility of throwing a code do to any minor change in resistance via the repair.
Do you think this could be a problem or does the control unit just look for continuity?
