I guess I made a typo so 8.5 x 14 or two 8.5 x 11 pieces taped together.

See page 462 1994 wiring manual. It is a fold out page so pretty hard for me to copy. If you own a 164 you need to get a CarDisc International Ltd. - Alfa Romeo Manuals, Giulietta Manuals, Giulia Manuals, GTV Manuals, Spider Manuals, American Austin & American Bantam DVD if you don't have two volume 900 pages each shop and electrical manuals. If you have a 95 DVD has those manuals, too and much more.

What is your problem no brake lights and if A/T can't get out of park unless you push manual overide? If so cut out little rectangle shunt box in B/L switch wiring at switch and splice wires together and see if you now get brake lights.

I added remote starter wire to my Alfa 164 today.

I added remote starter wire to my Black Beauty today. I unwrapped BLACK TAPE off the engine wiring harness on the engine side of the false firewall.

It is the harness with rubber ring that pushes into round hole in false firewall.

There are two black wires in harness and the pin 1 in G151 connector power wire to starter solenoid pin 50 is the larger of the two black wires It is the 2.5mm (AWG 12) wire. I used a Tyco AMP splice tap yellow connector for 12-10 size wire to add a 12 AWG wire pigtail. I can now hook my push button remote start cables to this pigtail and power side of 40A cooling fan fuse bar terminal board.

I will be able to do compression test, etc without having to go in the cockpit and turning on the key and turning key to start position.

This remote start feature also will bepass chassis wiring to starter is something fails besides starter.
