Question for PAPJAM
Hi Jim,
I recently worked on a '71 Spider that runs around town here. Found a bad battery to starter cable. Loose connector on both ends. As you know with the starters current draw, it does not take a bunch of resistance to drop the voltage at the starter to 6.8 volts. The cable was kind of cheapo looking. So the thought came to me,
Do you have the equipment to make cables with soldered on terminals?
If so the Alfa owners could supply cable lengths and have you make up some GOOD cables. I would be very happy to buy a set for the Giulia. I think the connectors can be found relatively easily. Everything I see in the stores is crimped.
What do you think?
