If you've removed and replaced the connector on the headlight a couple of times, you've probably cleaned the contacts enough to make a good enough connection. Take the connector off the back of the headlight, take a test light (avail at Walmart) and check the wire is hot. If it isn't, then go back and check the bottom connection of the applicable fuse. If still no power, then check the top connection (electrical path prior to the fuse). Since your getting power to the other headlight, you SHOULD be getting power on the top connection.
