hank you Boudewijn for these wonderful pictures , the car 104 with a altered nose do you know witch one that is
What I am thinking on in relation to the C50 and the 3 chassis of Gilco/Cabi-Cattaneo. We know where the 2 chassis is, the Riva and the Colli. But the third, that was or suppose to been dressed by Touring. Where is that. Some state that the C50 was on a experimental chassis.
If we think , maybe a crazy idea, that Touring didn't build the proposed design to the third chassis of Gilco/Cabi-Cattaneo, but used that one for the C50.
Whey was Touring asked to Dress a chassis of 6C2500 with the same design that already was produced internal, I suppose, by Alfa Romeo. I have difficult to any reason whey they should do that, it don't sound reasonable in my ears.
Whey was the C50 "demolished by Alfa Romeo" it was the latest build , was the quality done by Touring so lousy that Alfa just scraped it, I don't think so. There must have been other things to this.
We have an idée that the engine maybe went to an other chassis (C52) but was that reason just to say, that was it, with the rest of the car. Hard to believe for me.
