I might be dumb....

Now I understand what the guy at Centerline was talking about. That nut that Peter was pointing out has to stay in place so I don't split open the steering collumn post. O.k. so I'm dumb, but I wasn't stupid enough to make the mistake of cranking down on it and splitting it open.

So the fear of screwing the whole thing up is gone. I'm getting it. I just need to make another trip to the hardware store to find the right bolts once again.

Note bene to all: be careful with your coffee. Or be able to suffer a mild burn on your butt to avoid a major pain in your ....
