Everybody has a wish list of what information they would want. But such information usually does not magically appear by itself. Be prepared that Santa Claus doesn't deliver -- unless you are willing to become Santa Claus yourself, even for just one topic.

It appears the most valuable information has been written and/or compiled by AlfaBB members on a voluntary basis -- typically because they were fed up with searching through fragmented threads, other web sites, and books. It usually ends up in a sticky thread in a forum where the topic is relevant.

So, guys, if you want Howto's: Get off your lazy bums and write one. Play an active role in building the resource your longing for. Compile the information you care about -- then post it as summary, redux, or commentary about other web pages or threads. It's easier than you think -- just follow Richard Bach's paradigm "You teach best what you need to learn most."
