wheel refinishing

For steel wheels powder coating is the most durable but it is quite difficult to get the exact shade of silver. Also it is very important to either s.blast the wheels yourself or make sure they are done nicely and not with a really aggresive and coarse media that does not leave a smooth finish and/or grit trapped between the center and rim. Also make sure the wheels are straight and true and if needed file-out any nicks in the rim do not count on powder-coaters or painters to do this. You can also have a coat of clear on top for extra $ and durability. Of course most good body shops can also paint wheels usually it does cost a little more. Fred.
