It's a pain in the arse. Those pins are usually stuck pretty hard. I would suggest putting the nut back on the pin and tapping
gently to see if you can persuade the pin to come out. I had to beat on mine pretty hard and damaged the threads on the pin. So care must be taken to not hit that thing so hard that you damage the threads. You might want to try the usual substances for "unfreezing" screws and nuts that are stuck hard.

Good afternoon everyone, I am stumped at how to remove the clutch pedal lever and shaft from my Giulia TI. I have loosened the bolt that holds the pedal to the shaft but the bolt will not slide out all the way from the base of the pedal. It will not clear the portion of the casting that has the hole for the bolt that regulates how far the pedal travels toward the rear of the car. Any suggestions?
