Thanks guys for the links. It's really too late though. I have already installed the valve so I would not feel right returning it. I am in retail myself and I find it bothersome when folks try to return things that have clearly been used.
If you think adding the proportioning valve is a big fail point then I would pull it out and just use the switch. If its not a safety issue then its not bothering me where its at.
