Here's my $.02 on this:
I'm not against change if it benefits the BB membership.
I find the Roundtails to be a distinct category.
I find the SEARCH option to be a valuable feature of the ABB. However, I find it lacking in identifying specific postings unless you can identify and eliminate some threads due to their forums. eg: You want info on replacing the clutch disc on a Duetto; you type: CLUTCH into SEARCH. You get 400 posts. You ignore the sedans, GTV's, etc. and begin to read all the Spider threads to determine if one
might be a Duetto in order to get a bit of info. After reading and passing on twelve threads you give up and post a new thread and HOPE that someone, who has Duetto experience, will respond and answer your questions - which it may turn out, were answered eight months before but in a different forum!

My point is that by establishing different forums for different types of Spiders, coupes, etc. - we tend to organise the fixes and failures of these models in a more coherent form which can be read and searched in a more timely manner than is now available.
The ALFISTI have spoken, long live ALFA!
